Job description
 Responsible for the implementation of a holistic CRM solution in Japan in alignment with global BMW Group strategy, including wholesale & retail market specifications across BMW & MINI brands, with potential expansion to other brands.
 Collaboration with regional data governance teams to design and execute initiatives that make source data available to other platforms across the enterprise.
 Responsibility to lead CRM Solution Architect and functionally lead the entire Japan CRM team. (Currently located in Japan, Southeast Asia, and a development organization in India).
 Responsible for setting mid- and long-term strategy for CRM planning adapting global strategy to work in Japan.
 Must communicate effectively and confidently in Japanese to the Japan dealer network, bringing these important partners in to understanding the role and importance of CRM on the current and future use cases for their businesses. Must have a mastery of English to communicate with global and regional teams on Japan market needs.
 Report to Retail Systems Program Lead on status of CRM solution implementation in Japan.
 Steers internal CRM Solution Architect and through this as well Business Owners’ Change Requests (CRs) and User Stories input, UAT Test Case input, Test Execution).
 Demonstrate status of project to senior management locally and towards central.
 Independently handle operational communication related to development activities with regional and central counterparts.
 Communicate with local vendors on data usage and business intelligence (reporting) topics.

Job qualification
 University degree in IT, Business or Marketing.
 Strong Project Management (PM) skills with extensive experience in working on highly sophisticated, multi-faceted projects.
 Experience in automotive industry and other customer marketing a plus.
 Experience in information technology, specifically around data structures and designing business processes using discrete logic preferred.
 English & Japanese Mastery Required: Strong fluency; can clearly and confidently describe complex, technical topics to non-technical stakeholders in a simple and unambiguous way.
 Strong Background in CRM systems and IT system infrastructure.
 Understanding of holistic CRM processes and solutions, especially how they relate to larger enterprise market strategy.
 Significant, demonstrable experience in managing cross-functional, virtual teams across many time zones.
 Highly organized themselves, and can organize the work for others.
