Senior Specialist, Brand Communication,Brand Management BMW (C3-JP-B-3)
Brief Job Description (Major end results):
• Integrated Communication Management:
o Responsible for a holistic marketing communication/ campaign development planning in full funnelbased approach (from ATL to BTL, offline & Digital). This includes initiating media planning (paid/ owned/ earned media), creative development as well as operational implementation together with our assigned agencies for BMW brand aligned with overall BMW Japan business strategy and brand & communication KPIs.
o Differentiate the BMW brand from its competitors through those activities and bring the brand as No1 amongst competitors. Responsible model and topics may change in the future. Currently the following topics to be planned: BMW electro mobilities, sustainability theme, entry class (= 3, 4, X3, X4, i4, Z4),
middle class (5, X5, X6, iX) and limited editions.
o Lead and manage the multiple marketing agencies (lead, media, retail marketing, event, PR agencies) and internal stakeholders (Sales, Corporate Comm, Customer Support, Financial Services and Dealers) to ensure that marketing is aligned with the company targets and is delivering against brand, communication, and retail sales target.
o Customer journey & sales funnel management including lead generation together with CRM team and available digital tools.
• Lead Generation Campaigns:
o Focused on mid to lower funnel activity development closely collaborating with CRM team
o Responsible for a digital centric campaign planning, operational implementation, media planning (paid/
owned/ earned media) for annual lead generation campaigns (3-4 times).
o Responsible for generating necessary qualitative leads that are calculated from the sales target.
o Closely monitor the lead acquisition status and its quality with CRM team
• Monitor and track activities’ effectiveness. Measure and analyse communication activities and media planning on
a regular basis with PDCA cycle.
• Regularly track and analyse of competitors’ marketing activities.
• Manage the given budget, follow internal guidelines and procedures in terms of budget management and purchasing processes.
Bachelor degree as a minimum, possess strong interpersonal and fluent
English communication skills – verbal and written.
At least 3 years of marketing experience with advertisement (Creative +
Media) and BTL.
Experience in Automobile industry and/or advertisement agency is a plus.
Professional management skill of agencies.
Strong data driven approach, goal oriented and proactive, able to work
independently, but also work cross-functionally with strong initiative and
eadership. Above all, maintain focus in a VUCA environment.
