Job description
Our team oversees all IT related projects and operation for BMW Japan.

Our broad responsibilities cover:
- Maintenance and Operation of existing systems
- Rollout of new local applications
- Support localization of our headquarter applications.
- Responsible of IT Governance (Security, Compliance, Audit, Technical Upgrade…)

BMW Japan is creating a target picture for the digital customer journey including the digitalization of the retail business jointly from process and IT perspective. Bundling and structuring all IT and Digital initiatives in one integrated “Digital Program” to enable focused modernization, standardization, and change managements.

The Senior Expert, IT will join our Digital Program focusing on improving CRM applications used internally at BMW and national Retail dealers to manage customer data. Our key CRM application is MS Dynamics, and it has been rolled out to all retail dealers (except 2-wheel division) since Nov. 2022. It continuously requires development to integrate BMW central solutions, local applications, and other 3rd party solution for marketing automation.

1. The Senior Expert, IT performs to increase productivity and improve solutions by linking the Development team, the operation team, and the business department in line with BMW IT landscape.
2. Scope range will be from a simple bug fix to a complete rollout of a new module.
3. Co-ordination of projects and ensuring that quality standards are met from business requirements gathering, documentation, security, architecture, testing and rollout.
4. Learn, teach & try new ideas with the team and other associates in an Agile way. Work mostly in a group, rarely alone.
Manage vendors and partners from tendering process to monitor KPI & escalation.

Job qualification
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Project management qualifications.
- Advanced skill for communication, documentation, analytics, problem solving, and vender management.

Experiences:
- 7+ years in corporate IT position.
- 5+ years in IT Design, Build.
- 2+ years in Automotive company/ wholesale/ retail company.

Preferred technical skills:
- Technologies: CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce etc.) or Enterprise Application (SAP etc.)

Process:
- consulting experience

Others:
- Native Japanese language skill - written and verbal.
- High Business English communication skill - to be able to challenge Vendors or Regional/Central teams to convey Japan point of view.
