Job description
|
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, DevOps Test to manage the Tests for regular system releases. This role will involve collaborating with our offshore development team in India and Regional team to ensure seamless test execution and smooth release as planned. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, UAT execution of financial systems, and team collaboration.
・Manage and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) locally with business users for regular release cycles.
・Track and report on test case execution status, ensuring timely progress and completion.
・Serve as the primary point of contact for defect management, including logging, monitoring, and follow-up of defect tickets in JIRA.
・Collaborate closely with the APAC Test Manager to align local testing activities with regional strategies and timelines.
・Facilitate clear and effective communication between business users and IT teams regarding test progress, defect resolution, and release status.
・Ensure the delivery of fixes by coordinating with development teams and validating defect resolutions.
・Prepare and maintain accurate status reports and test documentation for stakeholders.
・Support continuous improvement of the testing process to enhance quality and efficiency in releases.

Job qualification
|
・Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
・Proven experience in software testing, preferably in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within the financial or automotive industry.
・Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
・Strong understanding of testing lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
・Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
・Ability to work collaboratively with business users, IT teams, and regional managers.
・Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reporting skills.
・Knowledge of Car Financial products and processes is a plus.
・Familiarity with financial systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
